The Bible says otherwise. Most people fall into one of two categories: Those who do just enough and those who complete what is required and then some.
The first group does just enough to get by, just enough to get paid, just enough to avoid getting fired. The second group is not necessarily smarter or more talented, but they consistently exceed expectations-outworking, outthinking, and outsmarting others- simply doing what others are unwilling to do, say, learn, or risk. According to Jesus, if we do only what we are required to do, our performance is nothing special and is unworthy of reward. If you want to build a team that goes ” The extra mile,” it starts with modeling an and then some attitude.
